Video Editor (Youtube - Remote)

We are looking for a skilled and reliable Video Editor to join our content production team for a growing YouTube channel. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of editing fundamentals and the ability to work with AI-generated clips, stitching them together into polished, engaging videos based on a provided script and workflow.

This role is well-structured, supported by our internal system for generating prompts for images and videos, and offers significant growth potential as the channel expands.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit and assemble YouTube videos using a provided script and a well-established prompt-generation system.
• Generate video clips and images using AI tools (instructions provided).
• Stitch together AI-generated clips, scenes, and text overlays into a smooth final video.
• Add background music, transitions, and sound effects where needed.
• Ensure pacing, flow, and visual storytelling align with the tone of the channel.
• Deliver videos on agreed deadlines.
• Make iterative improvements based on feedback.

Requirements

• Basic to intermediate experience with video editing software (CapCut, Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar).
• Familiarity with AI video and image generation tools.
• Ability to follow structured workflows and scripts accurately.
• Strong sense of visual timing, pacing, and scene composition.
• Good communication skills and ability to work independently.
• Reliable internet connection for file transfers and remote work.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working with YouTube content.
• Understanding of storytelling for short-form and long-form videos.
• Creative problem-solving when AI-generated outputs need adjustments.
