We are seeking a skilled Video Producers to drive our production initiatives and produce high-quality, engaging social and video content that meets our clients’ diverse expectations.

Job Description:
Killerspots Agency is looking for a talented Video Producer / Editor to create high-quality video content for social media, digital advertising, television commercials, and corporate marketing campaigns.

This role is for someone who can take a project from concept to final delivery. You should be equally comfortable behind a camera, inside the edit, and working directly with clients to bring ideas to life. We want someone with strong production instincts, sharp editing skills, and a clear understanding of what makes video content perform in today’s fast-moving digital and social landscape.

You’ll also play a key role in managing our in-house green screen studio and supporting all technical and creative aspects of production, including lighting, audio, shot planning, script support, and post-production.

Key Responsibilities:

Video Production:

  • Plan, shoot, and edit professional video content that aligns with client goals and agency standards
  • Produce content for social media posts and ads, television commercials, promotional videos, and corporate projects
  • Capture high-quality footage using strong fundamentals in camera operation, lighting, framing, and sound
  • Help shape concepts, story structure, and scripts into compelling visual content

Studio & Production Support:

  • Oversee and help maintain our green screen studio and production equipment
  • Ensure proper studio setup for lighting, audio, camera positioning, and overall production quality
  • Troubleshoot technical issues and help keep shoots running efficiently

Editing & Post-Production:

  • Edit polished, engaging videos using Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects
  • Create motion graphics, text animation, and visual treatments that enhance the final product
  • Format and optimize video content for multiple platforms, including social media, web, and broadcast
  • Maintain strong attention to pacing, storytelling, brand consistency, and audience engagement

Client Communication:

  • Communicate directly with clients during pre-production, production, and revision stages
  • Understand client goals and translate them into effective, results-driven video content
  • Collaborate with internal creative and marketing teams to ensure content supports larger campaign objectives

Trend Awareness & Innovation:

  • Stay current on social media trends, video ad creative best practices, and platform-specific content styles
  • Understand how to edit for performance across channels such as Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, TikTok, and LinkedIn
  • Be comfortable using or experimenting with AI-assisted video tools and emerging production technology to improve workflow, efficiency, and creative output

Project Management:

  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining a high level of organization and attention to detail.
  • Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of professional video production and editing experience
  • Strong working knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud, especially Premiere Pro and After Effects
  • Experience producing content for social media, digital ads, television commercials, and corporate videos
  • Solid understanding of lighting, audio, shooting, editing, and visual storytelling
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects at once
  • Excellent communication skills and confidence working directly with clients
  • Must submit a demo reel with application
  • Must currently live in Cincinnati, Ohio, or be willing to relocate

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience creating short-form, social-first content designed to drive engagement and conversions
  • Familiarity with motion design, creative scripting, and ad-focused storytelling
  • Working knowledge of AI-powered video tools, automated editing workflows, captioning tools, or content repurposing platforms
  • Understanding of current digital marketing trends and how video fits into broader campaign performance.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $38,000.00 - $43,000.00 per year
