This position is responsible for producing high-quality video content that supports the marketing, communications and educational initiatives of Pikeville Medical Center. Working under the direction of the Executive Director of Marketing, the videographer films and edits a wide range of video projects for internal communications, website and social media platforms, marketing and advertising campaigns, AI content and live productions. Responsibilities include studio and field production, operating cameras, lighting and audio equipment, editing footage and coordinating all aspects of video production. The role collaborates closely with the marketing and communications teams to develop storylines, scripts and visual content that highlight the hospital’s services, patient stories, staff expertise and community impact. This position also helps create instructional and training videos for staff, manages and maintains production equipment, oversees content for PMCtv and ensures all video projects align with Pikeville Medical Center’s brand standards while maintaining patient privacy and confidentiality.
Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience required.
Works under the direction of the Executive Director Marketing to film and edit various types of videos for in-house, web, social media, marketing/advertising, AI and live productions. This position includes but is not limited to: studio and field production, graphic design and implementation, equipment operation, editing and production coordination. Possesses solid communication skills, thrives in a team environment and understands the branding guidelines of PMC.
