Overview

Deafine Media is hiring a Videographer responsible for capturing high-quality photo and video content for clients on-site and in-studio.

This is a hands-on, client-facing role focused on content capture first, with light editing responsibilities to support content turnaround and internal workflows.

The ideal candidate understands how to capture content that is clean, usable, and aligned with marketing strategy and can also assist with basic editing when needed.

Core ResponsibilitiesContent Capture (Primary Focus)

• Film video content for social media, marketing campaigns, and brand use
• Capture photo content for digital and promotional use
• Set up and manage lighting, audio, and camera equipment
• Ensure all footage is clean, stable, well-lit, and usable
• Capture multiple angles, variations, and content formats during shoots

On-Site Client Work

• Travel to client locations for scheduled shoots
• Maintain professionalism and clear communication on-site
• Follow shot lists, creative direction, and brand requirements
• Adapt quickly to different environments and shooting conditions

Editing Support (Secondary)

• Perform light editing when needed (cuts, trimming, basic sequencing)
• Add captions, resize content, and format for social platforms
• Prepare quick-turn content when required between shoots
• Support the editing team with simple revisions or asset prep

Content Planning Support

• Understand the objective behind each shoot (educational, promotional, brand-building)
• Execute shot lists and contribute to capturing strategic content
• Ensure captured footage aligns with platform needs (Reels, Shorts, etc.)

Media + Team Collaboration

• Deliver organized footage and photo files to the editing team
• Label, sort, and structure files correctly for post-production
• Communicate with editors on footage needs and missing assets

Market Awareness

• Stay aware of content trends, framing styles, and shooting techniques
• Understand what types of visuals perform across social platforms
• Capture footage that aligns with current content consumption behavior

KPI & Performance Expectations

• Quality and usability of captured footage
• Efficiency and preparedness on shoots
• Organization and delivery of assets
• Ability to capture content aligned with brand direction
• Speed and accuracy in basic editing tasks (when required)
• Professionalism in client interactions

What We’re Looking For

• Experience in videography and photography
• Basic editing ability (CapCut, Premiere, or similar)
• Strong understanding of lighting, composition, and framing
• Ability to operate cameras, audio equipment, and lighting setups
• Organized, reliable, and detail-oriented
• Comfortable working on-site with clients
• Ability to follow direction and execute efficiently

Location: In-House (Ocala, FL) + On-Site Client Work
Schedule: Based on shoot schedule

Pay: $20,000.00 - $40,000.00 per year
