Videographer

About The Role

We’re looking for a creative videographer/content creator to capture high-performing social media content for a fast-growing mortgage brand. This role is ideal for someone already freelancing, building a portfolio, or looking to add consistent monthly work without committing to a traditional full-time position.

You’ll primarily create short-form vertical content for Instagram Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and similar platforms. Occasional long-form content may be requested.

This is a contract position with flexibility to maintain other clients and commitments.

What You’ll Do

• Capture video content during scheduled shoots (typically ~2 shoot per month initially)
• Film short-form social content including talking-head videos, behind-the-scenes, educational content, lifestyle content, and brand storytelling
• Follow provided content briefs, strategy outlines, and creative direction
• Organize footage and upload deliverables to shared folders in a timely manner
• Collaborate through Slack with marketing leadership and team members
• Occasionally assist with simple edits, shot selection, or creative input
• Contribute ideas that improve performance and content quality

Ideal Candidate

You may be a great fit if you:

• Have experience filming social media content
• Understand Instagram Reels, TikTok, or YouTube content trends
• Know how to capture engaging footage for modern brands
• Are reliable and communicate well
• Can work independently
• Have creative intuition and problem-solving ability
• Own professional or prosumer camera equipment (mirrorless preferred)
• Have experience with mortgage, real estate, finance, or personal brand content (plus but not required)

Preferred Experience

Experience with any of the following is a plus:

• Social media videography
• Short-form content creation
• Reels/TikTok production
• Personal branding content
• Podcast filming
• YouTube production
• Real estate or mortgage marketing
• Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut, DaVinci Resolve, CapCut
