Videographer and Editor

Martin City Marketing is located in the Martin City area just outside of Kansas City. We are an energetic marketing firm looking for a Commercial Videographer and Editor who can hit the ground running. The Commercial Videographer and Editor will produce a wide variety of content, from online content to broadcast commercials. The ideal candidate should be comfortable in all aspects of production, including pre and post production, camera operation, lighting and audio. The Video Content Specialist will also be expected to participate in our collaborative environment by contributing original ideas and providing feedback on work.

Skills you’ll need to be amazing at this position:

• Producing, editing, and delivering video assets for TV Broadcasting
• Create unique, fun ideas for social content
• Edit short and long-form videos from scratch, using impeccable creative instincts and industry best practices
• Develop motion graphics for titles, lower thirds, and end cards
• Quality check all video content to meet client brand guidelines
• Create simple animations using After Effects, and communicate graphic requirements to other creative teams
• Outgoing and able to help direct talent during video production

Job Requirements

• 2+ years in video editing experience in the digital space for web, retail, and social distribution
• Strong familiarity with developing assets for Paid Media
• Experience working within tight deadlines while maintaining collaborative spirit and high-quality output
• Ability to turn around same-day edits and handle multiple projects simultaneously
• Impeccable organization with a careful attention to detail and a strong eye for quality
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $78,000.00 per year
