Videographer and Video Editor

Job Description

We are looking for a creative and skilled Videographer cum Video Editor who can independently handle video shoots, podcast editing, and social media content creation. The ideal candidate should have a strong eye for storytelling, clean edits, and platform-specific content formats.

Key Responsibilities

Videography

Handle indoor & outdoor video shoots (corporate, podcasts, events, social media)

Operate mirrorless / cinema cameras with proper framing, lighting, and audio

Manage basic lighting setups for podcasts and interviews

Coordinate during shoots to capture engaging and usable footage

Video Editing

Edit podcasts (video & audio) – full episodes, reels, shorts & clips

Create Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, LinkedIn & TikTok videos

Add clean cuts, subtitles, transitions, branding elements & music

Color correction & basic color grading

Maintain consistent brand look and storytelling flow

Social Media Content

Repurpose long-form content into short, high-engagement clips

Edit content as per platform ratios (9:16, 1:1, 16:9)

Understand hooks, pacing, and trends for social media growth

Assist in content planning when required

Required Skills & Tools

Strong knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro / Final Cut Pro / DaVinci Resolve

Experience in podcast editing (multi-camera, sync, audio cleanup)

Adobe After Effects knowledge will be a strong plus (motion graphics, lower thirds, basic animations)

Good understanding of social media formats & trends

Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

Equipment Knowledge (Preferred)

Sony mirrorless / cinema cameras (FX3, A7 series)

Wireless mics, shotgun mics, podcast audio setup

Basic lighting (key, fill, backlight)

Experience & Expectations

1–3 years of relevant experience preferred

Must have a portfolio or sample work

Strong sense of responsibility & ownership

Willingness to learn and grow with the company
