Compensation

Starts at $750–$950/month depending on experience, with scheduled $100/month increases at the 3-, 6-, and 12-month marks based on performance.

Hybrid remote in Eastern Idaho; on-location filming required for shoots.

About the Role

Skycrest Media produces real estate listing videos, drone footage, and branded social content for real estate agents in eastern Idaho, plus a growing YouTube content engine aimed at real estate agents. We're looking for one person who can both shoot and edit — capturing polished raw footage on location, then turning it into final, on-brand videos across listings, short-form social, and long-form YouTube.

Responsibilities

• Travel to properties to film ground and drone footage for real estate listing videos (typically two shoot days per cycle).
• Edit raw footage into polished, client-ready listing videos within a 48-hour turnaround.
• Cut short-form vertical content (Reels/TikTok/Shorts) for client social pages — hooks, pacing, captions, trending audio.
• Edit longer-form YouTube videos for Skycrest's own content channel (real estate education + video tips).
• Color correct and clean up audio to a consistent branded look/sound.
• Manage a delivery queue and hit turnaround deadlines against a recurring monthly output of about 60 shorts and 2 long-form videos.
• Light social media scheduling/posting as needed.

Requirements

• Comfortable filming on location — camera operation, framing, and lighting for real estate walkthroughs.
• Proficient in Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or Final Cut.
• Strong short-form editing instincts (retention, pacing, captions).
• Solid color grading and audio mixing skills.
• Reliable transportation to travel to listing locations.
• Reliable, deadline-driven, communicates proactively on progress/blockers.
• Portfolio or reel showing both filming and editing work required.

Nice to Have

• FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate (for drone operation).
• Real estate or property marketing background.
• Motion graphics / basic animation.
• Own filming or drone equipment.

Pay: $750.00 - $950.00 per month
