Videographer/Content Creator

Overview
Food Memoir is a YouTube documentary series where real people cook and share the story behind their most meaningful family dish. Think human interest storytelling meets food documentary. We're building something genuinely meaningful and we need a small creative team to help us bring it to life. In this role, you will craft compelling video content that resonates with diverse audiences, elevates brand presence, and captures the essence of our mission of gathering the untold food stories!

We need help with:

• Filming episodes on location (real kitchens, real people)
• Setting up equipment for video/audio recording
• Making guests feel comfortable in front of the camera
• Communicating with participants via email/phone

Nice to have:

• Videography/social media experience
• Thumbnail design experience
• Educational background in marketing, communications, or digital media
• Editing videos
• Clipping and posting short-form content to TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts
• Designing YouTube thumbnails

What we offer:

• $15–25/hour depending on experience and role
• Flexible hours — most filming happens on weekends
