Content Creator & Editor Hybrid

Addison, Texas | 3 Days On-Site | 2 Days Remote

ShipSquared partners with multiple direct-to-consumer ecommerce brands, and we are hiring a high-level Content Creator and Editor to join our team.

This is not a cinematic passion-project role. This is a performance creative position focused primarily on producing 9:16 Facebook-style ads built to convert.

You will be filming on-site at our fulfillment center and other locations three days per week. A major part of your role will be leveraging our existing content library including B-roll, product clips, customer footage, and past assets to generate multiple high-performing ad variations.

You will write and test new hooks, scripts, and creative concepts, including using tools like ElevanLabs for voiceovers and rapid iteration. We expect constant testing, fast execution, and new ideas. You should understand how to build ads for Meta and paid social that grab attention immediately and drive measurable results.

Our clients are typically 22 to 32 years old and have been in ecommerce for years (this is who you'll be working with daily). They understand performance marketing but do not come from cinematic or production-heavy backgrounds. They are bringing creative in-house instead of outsourcing and want someone who becomes part of the core team. This role requires someone we can trust, collaborate with closely, and build long-term with.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Filming content at our fulfillment center and various brand locations
  • Creating primarily 9:16 Facebook-style performance ads built to convert
  • Using our existing content library including B-roll, product clips, and customer footage to create multiple ad variations
  • Writing and testing new hooks, scripts, and concepts including leveraging tools like ElevenLabs for voiceovers and iterations
  • Editing performance-driven ads for Meta, TikTok, and other paid social platforms
  • Developing new angles and creative variations based on ecommerce best practices and testing data
  • Bringing fresh creative ideas to improve results across multiple DTC brands
  • Potentially working directly with two founders to film, edit, and manage lifestyle-based short-form content
  • Supporting overall paid social content strategy with a performance-first mindset

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven experience creating ads for DTC ecommerce brands
  • Strong understanding of Facebook and Meta ad creative strategy
  • Clear understanding of what makes 9:16 short-form ads convert
  • Ability to create scroll-stopping hooks within the first few seconds
  • Skilled in both filming and editing with fast turnaround times
  • Comfortable working on-site three days per week in Addison, Texas
  • Open to occasional travel
  • Interested in long-term growth with a fast-moving team
  • Looking to become a core, trusted part of a growing company
