Top Shelf Painting & Improvement Specialists is looking for a highly skilled, experienced Videographer & Social Media Content Creator to help showcase our amazing projects and build our brand online.

We are not looking for someone who simply records videos. We want a creative professional who knows how to create engaging content that gets attention, generates leads, and helps grow a company.

If you live on social media, understand content strategy, and have a portfolio that proves you can create high-quality videos, we want to talk to you.

Responsibilities

• Film residential painting, cabinet refinishing, and home improvement projects
• Capture before, during, and after transformations
• Create engaging content for Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and other platforms
• Edit short-form and long-form videos
• Create reels, stories, testimonials, and promotional content
• Develop creative content ideas and marketing campaigns
• Follow current social media trends and apply them to our business
• Work closely with ownership to grow brand awareness and lead generation
• Travel to job sites throughout Metro Detroit

RequirementsMUST HAVE:

• Minimum 3+ years of professional videography experience
• Extensive experience filming and editing social media content
• Strong portfolio demonstrating successful content creation
• Your own professional camera equipment
• Your own lenses, lighting, audio equipment, and editing setup
• Expert knowledge of video editing software
• Reliable transportation
• Ability to work independently with little supervision
• Strong communication and organizational skills

Preferred:

• Drone license and drone equipment
• Experience working with home service businesses
• Photography experience
• Graphic design skills
• Knowledge of paid social media advertising
