Job Summary
TFU Podcast is seeking a hands-on Videography Intern to support in-studio filming and post-production. This role focuses on operating cameras, setting up lighting and audio, and editing both long-form podcast episodes and short-form social media clips. The ideal candidate is comfortable using professional camera equipment and experienced with DaVinci Resolve and CapCut for fast, high-quality content delivery. This is a paid, in-person internship offering practical production experience in a fast-paced podcast environment.
Duties
- Support the filming of podcast episodes using professional camera equipment, ensuring high-quality video aligned with TFU’s visual standards
- Assist with setting up and breaking down cameras, lighting, and audio equipment for studio recordings and on-location shoots
- Operate cameras during recordings and capture behind-the-scenes content
- Edit long-form podcast episodes and create engaging short-form clips for Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts
- Edit content using DaVinci Resolve, Adobe Premiere Pro, and CapCut to craft polished, platform-ready videos
- Incorporate motion graphics, captions, and visual enhancements using After Effects, Illustrator, or in-app tools
- Manage post-production tasks including color correction, sound syncing, and adding branded graphics or titles
- Organize and manage media files, footage backups, and project timelines
- Collaborate with the creative team to brainstorm clip ideas, trending moments, and content strategies
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a film, media production, communications, or related program
- Proficiency in DaVinci Resolve and CapCut (required)
- Experience with Adobe Premiere Pro (preferred)
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of camera operation, framing, lighting, and audio recording
- Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects) is highly preferred
- Strong understanding of short-form digital content and social media trends
- Strong attention to detail and visual storytelling instincts
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced production environment
- Reliable, punctual, and comfortable working on set
