Position Summary:
Responsible for oversight and management of the VIP Lounge; including but not limited to, admission to the lounge, food quality and presentation, and ensuring the cleanliness of the lounge area.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Promotes superior guest service.
- Maintains, and perpetuates a positive organizational culture according to the principles of the Spirit of Tâlícn and the Core Values of ilani.
- Monitors the entrance to the VIP Lounge to ensure access is tracked.
- Ensures the quality of the room and reports issues.
- Provides guidance and feedback on the menu in the VIP Lounge to the Casino Marketing Manager.
- Entertains guests in the VIP Lounge while building relationships in the area.
- Works in collaboration with the Food and Beverage department to provide excellent service in the VIP Lounge guests and maintain the integrity of the room in regard to access.
- Has the ability to extend complementary service in accordance with approved comp matrix.
- Maintains confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma / GED; Recognized Equivalent of a High School Diploma (RED) or Foreign High School Diploma (FHD).
- One (1) year of customer service experience.
- Must possess excellent interpersonal skills with an ability to foster a supportive and enabling team environment.
- Excellent communication conflict resolution skills.
- Must be able to stand during entire shift with frequent reaching, bending, and stooping.
- Must be able to work various shifts and flexible hours including weekends and holidays.
- Must be willing to work in a smoking environment.
- Must be willing to adhere to company health and safety measures.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Food and Beverage experience preferred.
