About the Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Virtual Assistant who is fluent in Mandarin and English to support our product development and brand expansion in China. You will work directly under the Project Manager and be responsible for managing product calendars, coordinating with suppliers and manufacturers in China, and supporting the launch of new brands (non-insole products).
This is a highly collaborative role requiring daily communication in both Mandarin and English.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and maintain the China product development calendar to ensure timely updates and clear visibility of production milestones.
- Communicate with suppliers, manufacturers, and partners in Mandarin to gather updates, resolve issues, and track progress.
- Provide daily reports and updates in English to the Project Manager.
- Assist in managing new product launches for upcoming brands, ensuring timelines and deliverables are met.
- Organize and document communications, agreements, and product data in a structured manner.
- Conduct light research on suppliers, market trends, and product opportunities when needed.
- Act as a reliable liaison between the company and Chinese vendors to ensure smooth coordination.
Requirements
- Fluency in both Mandarin (Chinese) and English – written and spoken.
- Proven experience as a Virtual Assistant, Project Coordinator, or Sourcing Assistant (preferred).
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Familiarity with product sourcing, supplier coordination, or manufacturing in China is a strong plus.
- Comfortable using online collaboration tools (Google Workspace, Excel/Sheets, Slack, etc.).
