Virtual Assistant

Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Home Healthcare Hybrid Assistant to support our home care team. The ideal candidate will handle daily administrative tasks—including scheduling, patient communication, and documentation—allowing our frontline caregivers to focus entirely on patient care. Core Responsibilities

  • Scheduling & Coordination: Manage, schedule, and confirm caregiver visits, reducing scheduling gaps and conflicts.
  • Patient Communication: Handle inbound/outbound calls, messages, and follow-ups regarding care plans, appointments, and inquiries.
  • EHR Management: Update patient records, intake forms, and clinical data within Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems accurately.
  • Intake & Referrals: Manage new patient referrals, inputting necessary data, and conducting initial client verification.
  • Billing & Authorization: Assist with insurance verification, prior authorizations, and submission of billing documentation.
  • Compliance: Maintain strict adherence to HIPAA and HITECH regulations regarding patient privacy.

Required Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a virtual assistant, medical secretary, or similar role.
  • Familiarity with home healthcare operations and terminology.
  • Proficiency in EHR/EMR software and scheduling tools.
  • Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal).
  • High-speed internet access and a secure, private remote workspace. ClearDesk +4

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with billing systems and insurance authorization.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or Google Workspace.

Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
