Virtual Assistant – Product Research and Sourcing

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Amazon Virtual Assistant to join our team. The primary focus of this role is product research and sourcing for our Amazon store. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of e-commerce trends, be familiar with Amazon's marketplace, and possess the skills necessary to identify profitable products and reliable suppliers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough market and product research to identify profitable and trending items for resale on Amazon.
• Analyze product demand, competition, and pricing using tools like Jungle Scout, Helium 10, or similar software.
• Research and identify reliable suppliers or manufacturers, including sourcing from platforms like Alibaba.
• Negotiate with suppliers to secure the best prices and terms.
• Evaluate product quality and profitability by calculating landed costs, including shipping and Amazon fees.
• Monitor and track inventory trends to ensure continuous availability of top-performing products.
• Stay updated on Amazon policies and e-commerce trends to optimize product listings and sourcing strategies.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as an Amazon Virtual Assistant or in a similar e-commerce role.
• Strong knowledge of Amazon Seller Central and product research tools (e.g., Jungle Scout, Helium 10).
• Excellent analytical and organizational skills.
• Strong communication skills, particularly in negotiating with suppliers.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Basic understanding of Amazon FBA and fulfillment processes.
• Familiarity with tools like Excel, Google Sheets, or similar for data analysis.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior experience with Amazon FBA product sourcing.
• Knowledge of international shipping and customs regulations.
• Experience with private label product development is a plus.
