Job Title: Virtual Medical Scribe

Tekboox, US-based IT company, is urgently looking to hire a Virtual Medical Scribe

Key Responsibilities:

  • Document patient visits in real-time, including HPI, ROS, physical exams, assessments, and treatment plans.
  • Enter accurate information into the clinic’s EMR/EHR (e.g., Athena, eClinicalWorks, DrChrono, Epic, etc.).
  • Review and update patient medical histories, medications, allergies, and lab results.
  • Prepare charts for upcoming patient appointments.
  • Ensure documentation complies with HIPAA and clinic standards.
  • Assist providers with coding and chart completion when required.
  • Communicate effectively with the physician to clarify notes, diagnoses, and procedures.
  • Maintain confidentiality and data accuracy at all times.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Health Sciences, or related field (preferred).
  • Strong understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, and clinical workflows.
  • Experience with EMR/EHR platforms (added advantage).
  • Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Ability to multitask, listen actively, and type quickly (40+ WPM).
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work under minimal supervision.
  • Reliable internet connection and quiet work environment.

Preferred Skills:

  • Prior experience as a medical scribe, transcriptionist, or healthcare support role.
  • Familiarity with US healthcare, ICD-10, and CPT coding.
  • Ability to work US business hours.

Job Location & Timing:

  • Location: DHA Phase 3, Y Block, Lahore
  • Shift: Night Shift (7:00 PM to 4:00 AM)
  • Work Mode: Onsite, 5 days a week
