We are currently seeking a Virtual Member Specialist to join our on site team (this position is NOT remote). As a Virtual Member Specialist, you will be responsible for various tasks including outbound calling, data entry, and providing excellent customer service. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment and contribute to the success of our organization.
Support our core purpose of helping people enhance their quality of life and live our brand promise of your finances, our focus. Advocate for new and existing members of the Credit Union, by developing and growing a professional relationship. As an advocate you will work closely with the membership to develop their financial goals, while working to achieve branch and company growth metrics.
```Responsibilities```
- Conduct outbound calls to potential customers
- Provide information about our products and services
- Upsell and cross-sell products to maximize sales opportunities
- Communicate effectively with customers to understand their needs and address any concerns
- Enter customer data accurately into our database
- Analyze customer information to identify trends and opportunities for improvement
- Engage new and existing members to conduct effective member interviews, to uncover appropriate needs and to help them define and reach their financial goals through inbound and outbound phone calls in our virtual branch. Explain and recommend products, services and behaviors that will best benefit the member and their lifestyle, including basic budgeting and financial planning. Open and close products based on need. Prepare and organize appropriate documentation for product/service opening and maintenance. Always do the right thing for both the member and the credit union. (win/win) This includes identifying cross sell opportunities and inhouse referrals that would benefit the member and the credit union.
```Qualifications```
- Fluent in English, both written and verbal
- Multilingual skills, particularly in Spanish, are highly desirable
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
- Previous experience in sales or customer service is preferred
- Ability to effectively upsell and promote products
- Strong data entry skills with a high level of accuracy
