Job Summary:
The Visiting Consultant Referral Marketing Manager is responsible for developing and executing strategies to strengthen the hospital’s relationship with
visiting consultants
, drive
patient referrals
through them, and enhance their engagement and satisfaction with hospital services. The role requires close coordination between consultants, hospital departments, and external referring doctors to ensure smooth patient flow and effective collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic & Relationship Management

Develop and implement marketing and engagement strategies to attract and retain visiting consultants across specialties.

Build and maintain strong relationships with visiting consultants, ensuring they are well-supported in clinical and administrative processes.

Act as a single point of contact for visiting consultants for operational coordination, feedback, and issue resolution.

Facilitate seamless communication between consultants, hospital management, and operations teams.
Referral Network Development

Identify and engage General Practitioners, clinics, and external specialists who can refer patients to visiting consultants.

Promote the hospital’s specialties and consultant services to local clinics and GPs through planned visits and interactions.

Organize networking programs and CME events featuring visiting consultants to enhance visibility and referral generation.
Performance & Coordination

Monitor referral inflow, patient conversion rates, and consultant utilization levels.

Prepare monthly MIS reports and analytics on consultant-wise referrals and case mix.

Coordinate with scheduling, OPD, diagnostic, and admission teams to ensure a smooth experience for referred patients.
Engagement & Branding

Plan and execute engagement activities, workshops, and academic events to promote visiting consultants’ expertise.

Ensure all marketing collaterals, consultant profiles, and promotional materials are regularly updated and distributed.
Market Intelligence

Gather feedback from consultants and referring doctors to identify improvement areas.

Track competitor activities and referral trends to refine strategies.
Qualifications & Experience:

Graduate / Postgraduate in Marketing, Healthcare Management, or Business Administration.

5–8 years of experience in hospital marketing or referral management, with focus on visiting consultant or doctor relationship management.

Experience in a multispeciality or tertiary care hospital preferred.
