Visual Brand & Graphic Design Coordinator

Cohen & Gresser (“C&G”) seeks Visual Brand and Graphic Design Coordinator to join our BD & Marketing (“BDM”) Department. This position will own, develop, streamline, maintain and execute on ensuring our visual brand story is cohesive and compelling. You will play a critical role in elevating the quality, innovation, and consistency of Cohen & Gresser’s visual brand expression. You will create impactful design solutions across channels, supporting business objectives and strengthening brand perception. This position will work with the full BDM team and report to the firm’s CMBDO.

Key Responsibilities (including but not limited to):

Concept and Design:

  • Translate strategic direction into high-quality visual concepts that support campaign goals and business priorities.
  • Design and execute digital, print, and interactive assets aligned with brand standards.
  • Develop new creative approaches or apply established brand systems across deliverables.
  • Present design strategies and recommendations to internal stakeholders.
  • Create design systems to support consistency and efficiency across teams.
  • Collaborate with BDM team to ensure cohesive execution.

Production and Design:

  • Produce accurate, press-ready files and digital assets that meet technical specifications.
  • Develop templates that reinforce brand consistency and operational efficiency.
  • Review and approve final proofs to ensure accuracy and mechanical integrity.
  • Provide clear communication and guidance when handing off files to team or vendors.
  • Contribute to improving production processes and departmental best practices.

Liaison and Client Service:

  • Foster strong, collaborative relationships with team and attorneys.
  • Communicate design rationale clearly and professionally.
  • Translate stakeholder feedback into actionable improvements.
  • Ensure deliverables meet expectations for brand alignment, business objectives, and timelines.

Organizing and Archiving:

  • Maintain organized file structures, templates, and asset libraries.
  • Archive assets in accordance with digital asset management standards.
  • Manage workload effectively amid shifting priorities.
  • Support brand governance and adherence to design standards.
  • Ad hoc projects or assignments as appropriate

Qualifications and Desired Skills:

  • 2-3+ years of professional design experience, preferably in a corporate or professional services environment
  • Extremely strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Bachelor’s degree from a 4-year accredited college or university
  • Excellent project management skills and organizational ability
  • Experience in branding, digital content development, digital marketing and advertising strategy and execution
  • Expert in design tools (Adobe required)
  • CMS system knowledge a plus
  • Experience with HubSpot a plus
  • Sharepoint experience a plus
  • High competency with Microsoft Word and PowerPoint

  • Ability to work independently without direct guidance on recurring assigned tasks
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize projects with little direction
  • Strong work ethic and able to work against deadlines
  • Comfortable and confident in interacting with firm leadership and attorneys
  • Able to represent the department and the firm in a professional and positive manner

This position is based in our New York office with a current hybrid schedule of 3 days in-office, 2 days working remotely or our DC office with an in-office schedule of 5 days. This is a nonexempt position with a typical schedule of 9:30am – 5:30pm or 10am – 6pm with overtime as needed. The expected annualized salary range (based on working 35 hours/week) is $75,000 - $90,000, depending on experience.
