Vocal Music Director - Canby High School

Canby High School is hiring a Vocal Music Director to begin 11/23/25.

This is a non-district funded (contingent upon fundraised dollars) position.

Minimum Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledge of emergency first aid procedures — current First Aid/CPR card required.
• Ability to work successfully with high school students, families, school staff, and the public.
• Ability to perform extra duty responsibilities in accordance with school and district procedures and policies.
• Ability to meet criminal records requirements of the state of Oregon.
• Ability to perform the essential functions of the position.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience/knowledge of the theater, vocal music, and student supervision.

Required Trainings:

• Vector Training courses

Applicant agrees to assume cost and arrange for fingerprint-based criminal records check upon offer of employment ($10-$20 at printing; $70 payroll deduction).
