What would you do in this role?
Essential Functions
Manage, lead, and develop new business opportunities and work closely with Client Services Leadership to achieve fiscal goals, meeting, and exceeding budget.
Manage, lead, and develop the team to be able to win new business and create, secure, and maintain relationships with potential clients and retailers.
Maintain leads and regularly communicate with potential clients and retail contacts.
Develop general capabilities selling materials including presentations, live demos, and marketing elements in collaboration with Anderson support teams.
Must be able to effectively establish relationships, communicate, and work with existing and potential new clients/customers.
Collaborate with Marketing to develop campaigns to drive lead generation.
Ensure accurate forecasting through accountable usage of (CRM) Dash2Cash
Develop and lead training programs for selling initiatives.
Direct contact with people of all levels, both internally and externally, and work with customers’ procurement and business teams.
Must be responsive to the customers’ needs and follow through on all aspects of requests, both written and verbal
Is the lead person on preparing the written proposal in response to customer’s RFP, coordinates all information from the different disciplines, and arranges the formal response.
Works closely with the internal teams when responding to a request for proposal (RFP) to inform them of market conditions, pricing issues, and the current competition on the program.
Competencies:
The Vice President of Business Development needs a variety of hard and soft skills. Examples include communication, organizational, time-management, and technical and computer skills, as well as drive and self-motivation.
