The Opportunity

We’re looking for a hands-on VP of Marketing / Growth to build and scale a modern, data-driven marketing engine focused on pipeline, revenue, and unified brand leadership within the finance and accounting ecosystem.

This is not a “big brand” awareness-only role. This is a build-the-engine, drive-the-numbers leadership position.

You will own:

  • Demand generation & pipeline growth
  • Brand positioning within finance, accounting, and PE-backed markets
  • Marketing operations, attribution & analytics
  • Sales enablement & GTM alignment
  • Digital infrastructure (CRM, automation, website, SEO)

You’ll work directly with executive leadership and help position Numera as the go-to finance partner for startups, SMBs, and private equity-backed companies.

Who We’re Looking For

We are specifically targeting candidates with:

Required Experience

  • 5–10 years total marketing experience
  • 3+ years in B2B professional services, finance, accounting, or fintech
  • Experience marketing to founders, CEOs, CFOs, PE firms, or SMB operators
  • Proven success building demand engines that drive measurable MQL → SQL → revenue growth
  • Strong grasp of CRM and marketing automation (HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar)
  • Experience reporting on CAC, ROI, attribution, and full-funnel performance

Highly Preferred

  • Experience in accounting, outsourced finance, fintech, PE-backed companies, or advisory services
  • Background in Private Equity environments (portfolio marketing, roll-ups, multi-brand integration)
  • Startup or high-growth SMB experience
  • Experience unifying multiple brands post-acquisition
  • Sales enablement & ABM experience targeting executive buyers

What You’ll Actually Do

Build the Growth Engine

  • Develop scalable demand generation across paid, organic, lifecycle, and outbound channels
  • Build repeatable MQL-to-revenue systems
  • Implement and optimize attribution frameworks

Strengthen Market Positioning

  • Clarify and sharpen Numera’s positioning in the finance & accounting landscape
  • Align messaging across startups, SMBs, and PE-backed segments
  • Support thought leadership and executive visibility

Modernize Marketing Operations

  • Optimize CRM and automation systems
  • Improve reporting cadence to executive leadership
  • Build dashboards tying marketing investment directly to pipeline

Lead & Scale

  • Hire and mentor a high-performing marketing team
  • Align closely with sales and operations
  • Create accountability around pipeline contribution and revenue impact

  • Predictable, measurable pipeline contribution from marketing
  • Improved MQL → SQL conversion rates

  • Modernized marketing systems tied directly to revenue reporting

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $120,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
