Innovation and execution of our Care Management (CM) products are vital to our success in driving the future revenue growth of Optum Whole Health Solution's Commercial book of business. This role will be responsible for management of a portfolio of CM products. Success in this role relies on many factors - ability to deal with ambiguity, to adapt and embrace change, and a long-term commitment to making health care better for everyone.
As VP CM, you will lead the definition, execution and transformation of a portfolio of CM products, creating the foundation for valuable and scalable consumer experiences and customer solutions. This role is accountable for defining the product strategy and vision as well as translating to design and execution. This individual will oversee the evolution of the products, leading a cross-functional team responsible for translating abstract concepts and real-world healthcare problems into simple yet innovative solutions that support members in living healthier lives. Through partnership with stakeholders, this individual will ensure a Optum Whole Health Solutions CM portfolio of products deliver best-in-class, evidence-based care solution at scale. Telecommuting available from anywhere in the U.S.
The ideal candidate will provide strategic and tactical direction to effectively design, solution and execute against product objectives and roadmap while ensuring organizational alignment. Candidate will be responsible for all phases of the product development process, from strategy and design to execution, governance and optimization. This will require influencing executive leadership, driving consensus across business units, and fostering a culture of innovation and shared ownership. The candidate must have demonstrated business success and a proven track record of strong product management, transformation, and development leading to the creation of growth generating opportunities and sustainable, scalable solutions.
You'll enjoy the flexibility to work remotely * from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges. For all hires in the Minneapolis or Washington, D.C. area, you will be required to work in the office a minimum of four days per week.

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). No matter where or when you begin a career with us, you'll find a far-reaching choice of benefits and incentives. The salary for this role will range from $159,300 - $273,200 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
