Position Overview:
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Vice President, Quality & Program Management leads and directs the combined Quality Assurance and Program Management functions globally for FUJIFILM Dimatix OEM products. This senior leadership role is responsible for developing and executing the company’s quality strategy, managing quality systems, and overseeing the effective delivery of new product development and program execution. The role ensures product excellence, drives continuous quality improvements, and leads cross-functional teams to deliver innovative products on time, within scope, and budget while meeting customer expectations.
Reporting to the President & CEO, this position is a key member of the executive leadership team, providing strategic direction and operational leadership to scale processes and teams in support of company growth.

Job Description:

Requires expert knowledge of incumbent's Corporate or Group Focus or Group Area as well as knowledge of other Areas/Focuses and the interaction of those groups. If responsible for a Division (i.e., single profit center) Function, requires expert knowledge of incumbent's Function as well as knowledge of other division functions and the Corporate function they are aligned to. COLLABORATION & INTERACTION
Interacts with internal and external executive level management, requiring negotiation of extremely critical matters Influences policymaking and strategy based on communication strategies and persuasion skills. Partners with executive leadership team for the function to provide cohesive direction towards company goals. Recognized as an influential leader.
MANAGEMENT & SUPERVISION
Leads activities of one or more functional areas, divisions, product groups and services through subordinate directors / managers who have overall responsibility for the successful operation of assigned areas. Oversees team(s) to develop new methods and solve company-wide matters.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership & Team Development
-
Provide vision, leadership, and development for Quality Assurance and Program Management teams across multiple locations (Santa Clara, CA; Lebanon, NH; and others as relevant).

Establish and communicate strategies, goals, and key performance indicators to ensure continuous improvement and alignment with corporate objectives.
-
Build and retain high-performing, cross-functional technical and project teams fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and customer focus.

Champion collaboration across Engineering, Sales, Operations, Marketing, Customer Support, and other key functions.
Quality Assurance & Systems Management
-
Lead development, implementation, and maintenance of company-wide Quality Management Systems ensuring conformance to customer requirements, ISO standards, and regulatory compliance.

Drive quality initiatives such as incoming material inspection, factory floor controls, corrective and preventive actions (CAPA), and statistical process control (SPC).

Partner with Operations to improve product yields, reduce scrap, and enhance process and product quality.

Oversee internal quality audit programs and ensure successful ISO 9001 registration and compliance.

Manage customer escalations related to quality and technical product issues in close partnership with Global Customer Support Teams.

Promote employee training and continuous learning related to quality objectives and tools (Lean, Six Sigma, etc.).
Program & Project Management
-
Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of new product development, product upgrades, and service delivery projects.

Manage project scope, schedules, budgets, risks, and resource allocation to deliver on-time, on-budget product launches and releases.

Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders including Engineering, Supply Chain, and Sales to meet customer requirements and business goals.

Ensure project teams adhere to design controls, quality requirements, and regulatory standards throughout the development lifecycle.

Provide executive reporting and communication to stakeholders on program status, risks, and escalating issues.

Support product field support through transition from development to manufacturing and customer deployment.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Supervision of global team of NH and CA based quality assurance personnel as well as all Program Managers.

Qualifications:
Required:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, or related technical field; advanced degree preferred.

15+ years of demonstrated leadership in quality management and/or technical program management within a manufacturing or OEM environment.
-
Proven experience managing quality management systems, continuous improvement initiatives, and compliance with ISO and customer requirements.
-
Strong expertise in project/program management from concept through product launch and support.
-
Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to build, lead, and motivate global teams.
-
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills to collaborate across all organizational levels and with customers.
-
Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities leveraging data-driven methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, SPC).

Experience with product development lifecycles in high-technology or manufacturing sectors.

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment with focus and decision-making under pressure.

Willingness to travel domestically and internationally (~25%).
Preferred:

Knowledge of inkjet printing technology, electro-mechanical systems, or fluid handling.

Familiarity with FDA, ISO 13485, or other relevant regulatory standards.

Experience working in a global, matrixed organization.

Proven success driving change management and continuous process improvements.
