Job Summary
To develop, manage and grow both the Assets & Liabilities portfolios of the SME by maintaining strong client relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and ensuring quality and compliance of the customer base.
The role focuses on enhancing profitability while managing risks, including minimizing Non-Performing Loans (NPLs).
Key Responsibilities
1. Business Development (Assets & Liabilities Growth)
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance both assets and liabilities books, including deposits, loans, and investment products.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through existing and potential clients.
- Conduct market analysis to identify profitable sectors and client segments for business growth.
- Work closely with the product and credit teams to structure suitable financial solutions for clients.
2. Portfolio Management
- Manage and improve the existing portfolio by ensuring customer satisfaction, timely renewals, and cross-selling of bank products.
- Continuously monitor account performance and identify early warning signals to mitigate potential risks.
- Maintain healthy portfolio yield and ensure adherence to the bank’s risk and return parameters.
3. Non-Performing Loans (NPL) Management
- Monitor and manage NPL accounts with the objective of minimizing delinquency rates.
- Implement effective recovery strategies and negotiate repayment plans with clients where necessary.
- Liaise with the credit and legal departments to ensure proper documentation and timely resolution of problem accounts.
- Ensure proactive follow-up on overdue payments and take preventive measures to avoid slippage.
4. Compliance and Documentation
- Ensure all customer records are accurate, updated, and compliant with regulatory requirements.
- Maintain complete documentation including Customer Legal Documents, Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD), Know Your Customer (KYC), and Financial Statements.
- Ensure proper credit limit management and monitoring of collateral and facility utilization.
- Work in accordance with internal policies, compliance standards, and regulatory guidelines.
5. Customer Relationship Management
- Develop long-term, trust-based relationships with clients to foster loyalty and repeat business.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing their financial needs and resolving issues promptly.
- Conduct regular client visits and meetings to understand their evolving requirements.

Preferred Qualifications, Skills & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Economics, or related field (MBA preferred).
- Minimum 3–7 years of experience in Relationship Management within the banking sector.
- Strong understanding of credit analysis, financial products, and risk management.
- Proven track record in portfolio growth and NPL management.
