Job Purpose :

We are seeking a talented and motivated Structured Export Solutions Vice President to join our team.

As VP, in cooperation with a senior originator, you will play a crucial part in the Global Trade team by actively contributing to the origination and execution of Export and commodity related structured financings, in line with Natixis' sectorial strategy.

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast paced international environment and to contribute to the financing of major international contracts/investments across diverse sectors such as Energy Transition, Metals, Mining, Social Infrastructure, Power, Space, Defense and Telecom.

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities :

• Contribute to the origination of medium / long term structured financings (Commodity Pre Export or prepayment financings and Export Credit Agency and multilateral covered financings).
• Prepare client pitches and indicative proposals in coordination with Coverage and/or Infrastructure and Energy Finance and Green and Sustainable Hub.
• Prepare business committees and credit applications.
• Actively contribute to the structuring and negotiation of the transaction with the internal and external stakeholders.
• Contribute to the business line reporting.
• From time to time, participate in assigned transversal projects / initiatives.

Qualification & Experience Qualifications :

A graduate of a business school, engineering school, or equivalent university, with a strong background in finance.

Experience: Proven experience of 5-10 years in a comparable position.

Competencies and skills :

• Experience in export finance, pre export finance, prepayment structures. Sectorial expertise in metals and mining is an advantage.
• A structured approach to credit analysis with strong ability to articulate credit judgment both verbally and in writing, including skilled use of spreadsheets and financial model analysis.
• You are a team player with a strong ability to work in a multicultural local organisation within a larger international group.
• Ability to adapt to work efficiently in a small local organisation within a larger international group while demonstrating entrepreneurial capacities and willingness to go the extra mile when necessary.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• The job holder also requires:
• Fluent in English;
• Proficiency in Russian is an advantage.

External relationships : Clients of Natixis DIFC Branch or any other relevant Natixis CIB location, external law firms, external advisors, other banks involved in syndication.

Internal relationships : Coverage, Green and Sustainable Hub (GSH), Operations, Credit, Legal, Compliance, Portfolio, Finance, Insurance, Syndication, other Origination teams within Global Trade and Real Assets.
