Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your expertise in verification and validation of complex embedded systems in a cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside dynamic and innovative teammates.

You'll contribute to delivering validation campaigns in accordance with test plans and test cases, ensuring that systems perform as intended in real or simulated environments. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (System, Project, Product, Quality, and Safety teams), design overall tests, and perform functional testing using advanced tools like NI TestStand, and much more.

You’ll specifically take care of preparing test scenarios and conducting test sessions, but also support defect investigations and manage work products under configuration management.

We’ll look to you for:

• Performing functional testing at the subsystem or system level and related verification activities

• Specifying and designing test architecture and test cases

• Executing test procedures, producing test reports, and managing change requests

• Developing and validating test environments and tools

• Investigating defects detected on test benches or on-site

• Ensuring test traceability against requirements and alignment with safety and software processes

• Collaborating with global teams and contributing to workload estimation and scheduling

All about you

• Bachelor’s or Postgraduate degree in Engineering – IT, CS, ECE, EEE, or equivalent

• 4+ years of experience in verification and validation of complex embedded systems

• Experience in requirement-based and functional testing on host and target environments

• Proficiency in scripting languages like Python or Perl for automation

• Knowledge of defect management and test lifecycle concepts

• Experience with tools such as NI TestStand, ClearQuest, Git, Reqtify, and DOORS

• Familiarity with standards like CENELEC SIL4 or DO-178B and communication protocols like TCP/IP

• Proficiency in programming languages like C, C++, C#, or Ada (Ada experience is desirable)

• Domain knowledge in railway signalling or similar industries like avionics

• Strong analytical skills, problem-solving ability, and a collaborative mindset
