At Goose & Rev Academy, we keep ratios low and stress down in our newly renovated center. As the Waddler Lead Teacher, you’ll guide curious little ones as they transition from infancy to toddlerhood. You’ll create a safe, engaging environment that encourages exploration, supports language development, and fosters independence. You’ll prepare and lead developmentally appropriate activities, nurture young learners to their fullest potential, and help set the tone for a loving, structured classroom.

This position reports directly to the Center Manager and Director/Owner and plays a key role in shaping the success of our Waddler Program.

What You’ll Do:

  • Lead the Waddler classroom with patience, creativity, and consistency.
  • Plan and implement daily activities that support social, emotional, physical, and cognitive growth.
  • Support children as they develop independence in walking, feeding, and communication.
  • Provide attentive, loving care and guidance to each child.
  • Build strong, professional relationships with families and colleagues.
  • Collaborate with leadership to maintain compliance, safety, and quality standards.

Qualifications:

  • Meet state health requirements, including physical exam and drug screening.
  • Provide documentation such as references, diplomas/transcripts, fingerprints, and background check clearance.
  • Ability to become MERIT-approved based on education and training.

Education & Experience:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent (required).
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field (preferred).
  • Prior experience with toddlers or young children (preferred).
  • STARS certificate (preferred).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
