Role Summary
We are seeking a passionate and guest focused Food & Beverage Waiter to join our premium Japanese fine dining team. This role is ideal for a hospitality professional who is committed to delivering exceptional dining experiences and upholding the highest standards of service excellence. The successful candidate will possess strong interpersonal skills, a proactive approach to guest engagement, and the ability to thrive in a fast paced luxury dining environment.
Key Responsibilities

Deliver exceptional guest service and dining experiences.

Manage an assigned dining section independently.

Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety standards.

Prepare restaurant opening and service setups.

Ensure tables, furniture, and service stations are presentation-ready.

Accurately process guest orders using Micros POS.

Coordinate effectively with kitchen and bar teams.

Serve food and beverages efficiently and professionally.

Upsell wines, sake, premium beverages, and menu items.

Minimize spoilage, breakages, and operational waste.

Support smooth day-to-day restaurant operations.

Handle guest requests and resolve service issues promptly.

Maintain health and safety standards at all times.

Perform effectively in a fast paced, high volume environment.

Collaborate with Front-of-House and Food & Beverage teams to achieve service excellence.
Qualifications

Secondary school education or equivalent.

Hospitality, Hotel Management, Tourism, or Food & Beverage certifications are an advantage.

Minimum 1 year of Head Waiter experience in a 5-star hotel, Michelin awarded restaurant, or high end dining establishment.

Fluent in spoken and written English.

Proficient in Food & Beverage operational systems, including Micros and Seven Rooms.

Strong upselling skills with the ability to promote beverages and premium products to enhance guest experience and drive sales.
