Duties

• Greet guests warmly, present menus, and provide detailed descriptions of menu items to enhance their dining experience
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring timely delivery
• Upsell menu items and specials to maximize sales while catering to guests’ preferences
• Serve food and drinks efficiently, maintaining high standards of food handling, sanitation, and safety protocols
• Assist with food preparation, bussing tables, and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area to ensure a pristine environment
• Manage cash handling and cashiering responsibilities accurately using POS systems like OpenTable or similar platforms
• Foster guest relations by addressing questions, resolving concerns promptly, and ensuring overall satisfaction throughout their visit

Skills

• Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, especially in fine dining or nightlife settings such as nightclubs
• Strong knowledge of POS systems including Aloha POS, Micros POS, and cashiering procedures
• Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and hospitality excellence
• Ability to handle multiple tables simultaneously with effective time management and organizational skills
• Familiarity with food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling techniques
• Experience with upselling techniques to increase sales while enhancing guest experiences
• Basic math skills for accurate cash handling, billing, and order processing
• Previous host/host or serving experience preferred; culinary or kitchen experience is a plus
• Knowledge of reservation platforms like OpenTable and restaurant management tools such as Food industry software is advantageous
