Waiter - Ridge Coffee House

Ridge Coffee House is hiring energetic and service-oriented Waiters/Waitresses to join our front-of-house team. We’re looking for individuals who are friendly, professional, and passionate about delivering excellent customer service.

Role Overview

The Waiter/Waitress will be responsible for greeting guests, taking orders, serving food and beverages, maintaining the dining area, and ensuring an exceptional guest experience.

Key Responsibilities

Guest Service & Order Taking

• Welcome guests warmly and assist with seating
• Present menus and describe items when needed
• Take accurate orders and input them into the POS system
• Serve food and beverages efficiently and professionally
• Handle customer questions, feedback, and requests

Dining Area Management

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of tables, counters, and service areas
• Clear tables promptly and reset them for new guests
• Support with takeaway orders and packaging when needed
• Assist with daily opening and closing duties

Team & Coordination

• Work closely with baristas and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service
• Communicate order issues or delays promptly
• Support colleagues during busy hours
• Follow instructions from the Branch Manager and Head Barista

Hygiene & Safety

• Adhere to food safety and hygiene guidelines
• Maintain personal cleanliness and correct uniform standards
• Follow all service SOPs and café protocols

Requirements

• 1–2 years of experience in a café or restaurant (freshers with great attitude also considered)
• Friendly, positive, and customer-focused personality
• Good communication skills in English
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Professional appearance and punctuality
• Basic understanding of POS systems (training will be provided)
• Team player with a willingness to learn
