Position Overview

We are seeking a dynamic, experienced, and service-oriented Waiter/Supervisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospitality, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to lead and support front-of-house operations. Arabic-speaking candidates are highly preferred to ensure smooth communication with our diverse clientele.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet and seat guests with warmth, ensuring a welcoming and professional first impression.
  • Provide detailed knowledge of the menu, making recommendations and upselling when appropriate.
  • Supervise and coordinate daily front-of-house operations to maintain service standards.
  • Ensure tables are properly set up and dining areas are clean and presentable at all times.
  • Communicate effectively between the kitchen and service staff to ensure timely delivery of orders.
  • Handle guest inquiries, complaints, or special requests with professionalism and efficiency.
  • Support the training and motivation of junior service staff to maintain team performance.
  • Monitor service quality, table turnover, and guest satisfaction during shifts.
  • Maintain compliance with health and safety, hygiene, and service standards.
  • Assist in inventory control and reporting to management.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2–3 years of experience as a waiter, head waiter, or supervisor in a high-end or fine dining restaurant.
  • Fluency in Arabic and English (spoken and written) is essential.
  • Strong understanding of hospitality, food, and beverage service standards.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to lead by example and work efficiently under pressure.
  • Professional appearance and positive attitude.
  • Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

  • Diploma or certification in Hospitality Management or Food & Beverage Service preferred.
  • Prior experience in fusion or fine dining cuisine is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of POS systems and restaurant operations software is desirable.
