Our company is looking for waiter/ waitress who will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring a positive dining experience for guests.
Key Responsibilities
- Greeting and Seating Guests: Welcome customers upon arrival, escort them to their tables, and provide menus. Explain daily specials or promotions and answer initial questions about the restaurant or menu.
- Taking Orders: Listen carefully to customer orders, provide recommendations, and input orders accurately into the point-of-sale (POS) system. Relay any special dietary requirements or allergies to the kitchen.
- Serving Food and Beverages: Deliver food and drinks promptly, ensuring orders are accurate and meet presentation standards. Regularly check on tables to refill drinks and meet additional needs.
- Ensuring Guest Satisfaction: Monitor customer satisfaction throughout their meal, address complaints or issues gracefully, and provide solutions or escalate concerns to a manager when necessary.
- Processing Payments: Present the bill to guests, handle cash and credit card transactions accurately, and provide correct change or receipts.
- Maintaining Cleanliness: Ensure tables are clean and tidy when guests arrive, assist in cleaning dining areas, and restock service areas as needed.
