Job Summary
Our servers are responsible for providing a friendly, attentive, and memorable dining experience for guests. This role requires strong communication skills, menu knowledge, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Servers act as the primary point of contact for guests, ensuring orders are taken accurately, food and beverages are delivered promptly, and guests feel welcomed and valued throughout their visit.

Servers are expected to be personable, knowledgeable about menu items and specials, and proactive in suggesting food, beverages, and add-ons that enhance the guest experience. Maintaining a clean and organized section, working closely with kitchen and bar staff, and ensuring accurate order entry through the POS system are essential parts of the role.

The ideal candidate is energetic, reliable, team-oriented, and passionate about hospitality. Success in this position comes from creating positive guest interactions, building repeat customers, and contributing to a fun and professional restaurant environment.

Responsibilities

  • Greet guests promptly and create a welcoming first impression
  • Take accurate food and beverage orders and enter them into the POS system
  • Deliver food and drinks efficiently while ensuring quality and accuracy
  • Provide recommendations and upsell menu items, specials, and beverages
  • Check back with guests to ensure satisfaction and address needs
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of tables and service areas
  • Process guest payments accurately
  • Work collaboratively with kitchen, bar, and other team members
  • Follow all food safety, alcohol service, and company policies

Skills

  • Strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple orders during peak hours.
  • Proficient in cash handling procedures to ensure accurate transactions.
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to create a friendly and inviting atmosphere for guests.
  • Basic math skills for calculating bills and managing tables effectively.
  • Ability to help guests with inquiries regarding drink selections or menu items.
  • Sales skills to promote specialty drinks or upsell menu items effectively.
  • Experience in restaurant or food service environments is required
  • Familiarity with banquet service is a plus, as it enhances the ability to cater to larger groups during events.

  • RAMP Certification a plus
  • 2 or more years experience preferred

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $5.00 per hour
