Position :- Waiter/ Waitress

Location :- Abu Dhabi

Job Description :-The Waiter/Waitress will be responsible for delivering exceptional guest service by ensuring prompt and accurate food and beverage delivery, maintaining a welcoming atmosphere, and addressing guest needs. This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities :-

- Present menus, answer questions, and provide recommendations based on guest preferences.

- Take accurate food and beverage orders and ensure special requests or dietary needs are communicated to the kitchen.

- Serve food and drinks promptly, ensuring the correct presentation and temperature.

- Input orders into the restaurant’s POS system accurately.

- Monitor tables to ensure guest satisfaction throughout their dining experience.

- Coordinate with the kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely delivery of orders.

- Build rapport with guests to encourage repeat visits.

- Handle guest concerns or complaints professionally, escalating to management if necessary.

- Provide information about promotions, special events, or new menu items.

- Assist colleagues during busy periods to maintain smooth service.

- Work closely with the kitchen, bar, and other staff to ensure a cohesive guest experience.

- Participate in team meetings and provide feedback for service improvements.

- Ensure the food service areas and workstations are clean and organized.

- Follow all health and safety guidelines regarding food handling and hygiene.

- Inform kitchen staff of any feedback or issues reported by customers.

- Prepare tables before service, including setting up utensils, napkins, and glassware.

- Regularly check on guests, refill beverages, and promptly clear empty dishes.

- Ensure tables are cleaned and reset for the next guests efficiently.

Experience: Previous UAE experience in a restaurant or food service role is preferred.

Skills:

- Strong communication skills.

- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.

- Attention to detail, especially in food presentation and order accuracy.

Physical Demands: Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, and lift and carry heavy trays of food.

Team Player: Willingness to assist both the kitchen and service teams to ensure smooth dining service.
