Waitress / Barista – Job Description

Job Summary:

The Waitress/Barista is responsible for providing excellent customer service by taking orders, serving food and beverages, and preparing high-quality coffee and drinks. This role ensures a welcoming atmosphere and smooth daily operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet customers warmly and assist with seating
• Take food and beverage orders accurately
• Prepare and serve coffee, espresso, and specialty drinks
• Serve food and beverages in a timely manner
• Operate POS/cash register and handle payments
• Maintain cleanliness of tables, counter, and work areas
• Follow hygiene, safety, and food handling standards
• Refill supplies and assist with stock checks
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve complaints professionally
• Work effectively with kitchen and service staff

Requirements & Skills:

• Previous experience as a waitress or barista is an advantage
• Knowledge of coffee preparation and menu items
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Friendly, positive, and professional attitude
• Flexible to work shifts, weekends, and holidays
