The Opportunity: Deliver the Tacos N Social Experience

Tacos N Social is looking for an energetic and experienced Server with strong bar knowledge to join our team in Downtown Winder. Our concept combines Mexican street food, craft cocktails, and a vibrant social atmosphere, creating a fun and memorable dining experience for every guest.

Key Responsibilities Guest Experience

• Greet guests with enthusiasm and create a welcoming, upbeat dining experience.
• Manage table flow and service within your section while maintaining attention to detail and timing.
• Build strong guest relationships and deliver memorable service that keeps people coming back.

Menu & Beverage Knowledge

• Become knowledgeable about our menu including tacos, shareable plates, specials, and house cocktails.
• Confidently recommend food and drink pairings including margaritas, tequila, mezcal, and specialty cocktails.
• Upsell menu items and beverages to enhance the guest experience.

Bar Knowledge

• Must have working knowledge of cocktails, tequila, mezcal, and margaritas.
• Ability to assist behind the bar when needed and confidently explain drink options to guests.
• Help maintain bar organization and support bar staff during busy service periods.

Service & Operations

• Accurately enter orders and process payments using our POS system (TOAST).
• Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages while maintaining high service standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization within your section.

Teamwork

• Assist the team with running food, bussing tables, and resetting tables when needed.
• Communicate effectively with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth service.

Compliance

• Follow all food safety and responsible alcohol service guidelines (TIPS/ServSafe preferred).

QualificationsRequired

• Bartending experience or strong cocktail knowledge
• Excellent communication and guest-service skills
• Ability to multitask in a high-energy, fast-paced restaurant
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Reliable transportation and strong attendance

Preferred

• Experience with TOAST POS
• Knowledge of tequila, mezcal, and cocktail service
• Experience in high-volume restaurants or bar environments
