Job Description

Responsible for providing excellent customer service and ensuring smooth front-line food service operations. The role includes serving customers, maintaining cleanliness of service areas, ensuring proper food presentation, and supporting overall dining service operations in accordance with company standards and client requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Customer Service
  • Greet customers in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Serve food and beverages according to service standards.
  • Assist customers with menu inquiries and service requests.
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Food Service Operations
  • Prepare service counters and ensure proper food display.
  • Serve food portions accurately and efficiently.
  • Ensure proper replenishment of food items during service.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of service areas.
  • Dining Area Maintenance
  • Ensure dining areas, tables, and chairs are clean and properly arranged.
  • Clear used trays, dishes, and utensils from dining areas.
  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of front of house areas.
  • Support proper waste disposal and sanitation procedures.
  • Compliance with Food Safety and Hygiene
  • Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation procedures.
  • Maintain personal hygiene and grooming standards.
  • Ensure proper handling of food and service equipment.
  • Support compliance with HACCP and company standards.
  • Operational Support
  • Assist in basic food preparation and service setup when required.
  • Support kitchen and stewarding teams during peak operations.
  • Assist in receiving and organizing supplies when needed.
  • Follow instructions from supervisors and management.

Job Requirements

Minimum Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Preferred Qualifications:
  • Diploma in Hospitality Management, Food & Beverage Service, or related field (advantage)

Preferred Certifications

  • Food Safety Level 1 or Level 2 Certification
  • Customer Service Training Certification (advantage)
  • Basic Health and Safety Training

Experience

  • Minimum 1–2 years of experience in food service, hospitality, catering, or customer service role preferred.
  • Experience in institutional catering, hospitality, or similar environment is an advantage.

Skills And Competencies

  • Good customer service and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work as part of a team

Technical Skills

  • Basic knowledge of food service operations
  • Basic knowledge of hygiene and food safety standards
  • Basic English communication skills (reading, writing, speaking)

  • Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays
  • Physically fit and able to stand for long periods
  • Positive attitude and professional behavior
  • UAE experience preferred
  • Ability to interact professionally with customers and clients
