Job Summary:

The Senior Waiter leads the restaurant service team to deliver exceptional dining experiences. Responsible for supervising wait staff, ensuring high-quality service, and attending to guests' needs, the Senior Waiter plays a key role in maintaining customer satisfaction and smooth daily operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of wait staff during shifts
• Ensure efficient, prompt, and courteous service to all guests
• Welcome and seat guests, present menus, and offer recommendations
• Take food and beverage orders accurately and ensure timely delivery
• Train new service staff and provide ongoing coaching
• Handle guest complaints professionally and escalate when necessary
• Monitor dining areas for cleanliness, ambiance, and readiness
• Collaborate with kitchen and bar teams to ensure seamless service
• Maintain knowledge of the menu, ingredients, and specials
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a senior waiter or captain in a high-end restaurant
• Strong leadership, communication, and customer service skills
• Ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure
• Good knowledge of food and beverage service procedures
• Professional appearance and positive attitude
• High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality training is a plus
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
