Waitress (Events/Catering)

We are seeking an experienced and customer-focused Waitress with Events and Catering experience to support daily restaurant operations as well as off-site and on-site events. The ideal candidate will deliver excellent guest service, efficiently manage high-volume service environments, and represent the brand professionally during events and catering functions.

Key Responsibilities

Restaurant & Service Operations

  • Provide courteous, professional, and efficient table service to guests
  • Take accurate food and beverage orders and relay them promptly to the kitchen/bar
  • Ensure tables are properly set, clean, and maintained according to brand standards
  • Handle guest requests and complaints promptly and professionally

Events & Catering

  • Support setup, service, and breakdown for events, catering functions, and banquets
  • Serve food and beverages during events in accordance with event service standards
  • Coordinate with event supervisors, kitchen, and logistics teams to ensure smooth execution
  • Maintain high service quality in high-volume and time-sensitive environments

Customer Experience

  • Ensure a welcoming atmosphere and personalized guest interaction
  • Promote menu items, upsell when appropriate, and support event-specific offerings
  • Uphold brand image and service excellence at all times

Health, Safety & Compliance

  • Follow hygiene, food safety, and health & safety standards
  • Ensure proper handling of food, beverages, and equipment

Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum 1–2 years experience as a waitress in restaurants, hotels, or cafés
  • Proven experience in events, catering, banquets, or outdoor functions
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, evenings, and event schedules
  • Well-groomed, professional appearance

Skills & Competencies

  • Excellent customer service and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work under pressure in fast-paced environments
  • Strong attention to detail and multitasking ability
  • Positive attitude and adaptability

Preferred (Advantage)

  • Experience in luxury or premium F&B brands
  • Basic knowledge of POS systems
  • Multilingual skills
