We are seeking an experienced and customer-focused Waitress with Events and Catering experience to support daily restaurant operations as well as off-site and on-site events. The ideal candidate will deliver excellent guest service, efficiently manage high-volume service environments, and represent the brand professionally during events and catering functions.
Key Responsibilities
Restaurant & Service Operations
- Provide courteous, professional, and efficient table service to guests
- Take accurate food and beverage orders and relay them promptly to the kitchen/bar
- Ensure tables are properly set, clean, and maintained according to brand standards
- Handle guest requests and complaints promptly and professionally
Events & Catering
- Support setup, service, and breakdown for events, catering functions, and banquets
- Serve food and beverages during events in accordance with event service standards
- Coordinate with event supervisors, kitchen, and logistics teams to ensure smooth execution
- Maintain high service quality in high-volume and time-sensitive environments
Customer Experience
- Ensure a welcoming atmosphere and personalized guest interaction
- Promote menu items, upsell when appropriate, and support event-specific offerings
- Uphold brand image and service excellence at all times
Health, Safety & Compliance
- Follow hygiene, food safety, and health & safety standards
- Ensure proper handling of food, beverages, and equipment
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum 1–2 years experience as a waitress in restaurants, hotels, or cafés
- Proven experience in events, catering, banquets, or outdoor functions
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, evenings, and event schedules
- Well-groomed, professional appearance
