• Guest Interaction: Greet guests warmly, present menus, escort them to tables, and provide detailed menu recommendations, answering questions about ingredients and specials.
• Order Taking: Accurately take food and drink orders, relaying them to kitchen and bartending staff, often using a point-of-sale (POS) system.
• Serving: Deliver food and beverages to tables in a timely manner, ensuring the order is correct and presentable.
• Guest Satisfaction: Continuously check on guests to ensure their satisfaction, proactively anticipating needs, and resolving any complaints or issues that arise.
• Payment Processing: Prepare and present bills to customers and process payments accurately.
• Dining Area Maintenance: Maintain a clean, sanitary, and organized dining area, including setting and resetting tables, clearing dirty dishes, and performing general cleaning duties.
• Teamwork: Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff, as well as other front-of-house team members, to provide an exceptional dining experience.
