Duties

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their visit
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring timely delivery
• Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales
• Manage guest relations by addressing inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring overall satisfaction
• Assist with food handling, food preparation, bussing tables, and maintaining sanitation standards in accordance with food safety regulations
• Use OpenTable or similar reservation systems to manage bookings efficiently
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate orders and ensure smooth service flow during busy hours

Requirements

• Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, preferably with fine dining or nightclub settings
• Strong knowledge of POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS; familiarity with cashiering and basic math skills is essential
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude
• Ability to handle food safely, maintain sanitation standards, and follow proper food handling procedures
• Experience with serving, bussing, host/hostess duties, and guest relations in a hospitality setting
• Knowledge of food industry practices such as upselling, food preparation, and sanitation protocols
• Ability to manage time effectively during high-volume shifts while maintaining attention to detail
