POSITION SUMMARY:

The Waitstaff is responsible for performing a variety of kitchen duties as directed by the supervisor. Perform duties in compliance with established Company policies and procedures and in a professional manner.

SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Prepare the kitchen on assigned floor of the Healthcare Pavilion by turning on the steam table and warming drawer. Stock the drawer with plates.

Operate dish machine and wash dishes as appropriate.

Set up for tray service, trays, silverware and napkins, mugs, cups, jelly, SF jelly, salt, pepper, sugar, sweet and low, syrup, SF syrup, fruit of the day, pastry of the day and plastic wrap.

Set tables with place settings.

Run trays to resident rooms and wait on tables.

Clear tables when residents are done eating.

Return dirty pans and other accessories to the main kitchen.

Operate and clean food service equipment, utilizing proper guarding.

Check expiration dates on product daily, discard any items that are out of date.

Daily cleaning assignments as per schedule and/or as assigned by manager.

Attend scheduled meetings and in-services.

Adhere to department standard of dress.

EDUCATION:

High school diploma preferred.
