Waitstaff Part-time

The Massry Residence is currently seeking Full and Part-Time Waitstaff for all shifts either 7am-3pm, 11am-7pm or 4pm-7pm including weekends. We are looking for cheerful and motivated individuals to join our team. The ideal candidate will be able to work with a smile on their face, will be able to carry food from the kitchen to tables and will effectively work as part of a team. Servers have high contact with our residents, so we are interested in hiring individuals with great customer service skills!

Daughters of Sarah Community for Seniors is a non-profit, faith-based senior community that is dedicated to helping seniors at all stages of wellness continue to live life to the fullest. Our seniors enjoy a vibrant community, attentive care, and personalized services, providing peace of mind and confidence. The Massry Assisted Living Residence provides gracious living in an apartment like setting.

Responsibilities:

• Set tables meeting proper table service standards.
• Serve meals in a restaurant-style fashion.
• Relay information and requests to the Chef on duty and respond as directed.
• Clear tables in assigned section after each meal course is complete.
• Keeps work areas clean and sanitary
• Responsible for accurate and timely delivery of room service.
• Responsible for setting tables after each meal for the following shift.
• Perform miscellaneous duties such as food prep, replenishing condiments, cleaning, sanitizing, and resetting tables.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• English language proficiency
• Ability to communicate in a professional and courteous manner
• At least 2 years serving experience
