Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing a friendly and professional first impression
• Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently using POS systems such as toast POS or clover POS
• Assist guests with menu selections, answer questions about food and beverages, and provide recommendations
• Take accurate orders from guests, relay them promptly to the kitchen staff, and ensure timely delivery of food and drinks
• Maintain a clean, organized dining area and ensure all tables are properly set for new guests
• Handle guest inquiries via phone with professionalism and courtesy, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette
• Support the restaurant team by assisting with guest relations, resolving concerns promptly, and ensuring overall guest satisfaction

Qualifications

• Prior experience as a Host/Hostess or in food service is highly preferred
• Strong customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
• Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members
• Familiarity with restaurant POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
• Previous experience in hotel or hospitality environments is advantageous
• Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
• Knowledge of serving protocols and guest relations best practices
