Job Title: Per Diem Event Waitstaff / Server

Company Overview
We are a professional event staffing company seeking reliable and polished waitstaff to join our team on a per diem basis. Our events range from intimate private gatherings to large-scale corporate functions, offering a dynamic and flexible work environment.

Position Summary
As a Professional Server, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional service and ensuring each event runs smoothly. This position is ideal for individuals who are detail-oriented, personable, and thrive in fast-paced event settings.

Key Responsibilities
Our Professional Servers provide the following services:

• Assistance with any last-minute event setup
• Warmly greeting guests upon arrival
• Passing hors d’oeuvres, setting up buffet stations, and serving food
• Clearing dishes and tables throughout the event
• Organizing and properly storing leftover food
• Setting up dessert displays and coffee/tea service
• Removing garbage and recyclables
• Washing and tidying any dishes left in the sink
• Ensuring all service areas are neat, organized, and clean before departure

Bartending services include:

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve drinks according to recipes and customer preferences
• Interact with customers, take orders, and provide recommendations
• Check identification to verify legal drinking age
• Maintain a clean and organized bar area
• Monitor customer behavior to prevent over-intoxication
• Restock bar inventory, including alcohol, mixers, and supplies
• Follow health, safety, and alcohol service regulations
• Work collaboratively with servers, kitchen staff, and management

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Knowledge of drink recipes, mixing techniques, and bar equipment
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure
• Attention to detail and cleanliness
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift moderate weight
• Previous bartending or hospitality experience preferred
• Certification in responsible alcohol service preferred but not required

Qualifications

• Previous hospitality or event service experience preferred
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Professional appearance and demeanor
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift light to moderate items

Compensation

• $25/hour plus tips
