Position: Welder

Primary Responsibilities:

• Perform MIG welding according to established codes, procedures, and quality standards.
• Cut, fit, and assemble materials using appropriate tools and equipment.
• Ensure accuracy of work orders and production requirements.
• Monitor product quality using measuring and inspection tools.
• Inspect welding processes to prevent overheating, warping, shrinking, distortion, or material expansion.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment while following all safety regulations.
• Lift and handle materials weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Complete additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Previous MIG welding experience in a manufacturing environment required.
• Experience welding trailers and/or trailer components preferred.
• Ability to accurately use measuring tools such as tape measures and speed squares.
• Experience using power tools, including angle grinders and die grinders.
• Strong multitasking skills in a production setting.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Work Schedule:

Monday – Friday
5:00 AM – 1:30 PM

Overtime Requirements:

Due to production demands, staffing shortages, or business needs, employees may be required to work mandatory overtime. Refusal to work required overtime without prior approval may result in disciplinary action, up to and including termination.

While the company will make every effort to provide advance notice of overtime requirements, immediate overtime may be necessary in urgent or emergency situations.
