Walmart Account Manager - Menswear

We are a leading direct import and domestic clothing supplier seeking a highly organized, data-driven, and detail-oriented Account Manager for our Walmart Men's Wear division. This full-time hybrid position is based in Bentonville, offering the opportunity to work both in the office and remotely. The ideal candidate will combine exceptional communication skills with a deep understanding of retail operations, strong data analytical capabilities, and experience managing Walmart accounts.

Base salary: $100,000-$120,000 with end of year bonus opportunity.


Key Responsibilities:

Weekly Sales Reporting & Data Analysis: Leverage Scintilla and other tools to generate and analyze weekly sales data. Use insights to develop actionable strategies that drive business growth, improve profitability, and inform key decisions.

Ladder Plans, Forecasting, and Replenishment: Create and manage ladder plans, write replenishment orders, and develop accurate forecasts to ensure optimal inventory levels and minimize out-of-stocks and overstocks. This function is critical to the role and requires strong analytical and planning abilities.

Problem Solving: Proactively identify issues related to Walmart account operations, leverage data to find root causes, and implement effective solutions that support business continuity and growth.

Collaboration: Partner closely with Walmart merchant teams, internal product development teams, and multiple factory partners to ensure alignment and timely execution of strategies.

Microsoft Office Proficiency: Use Excel (including advanced functions such as pivot tables and VLOOKUP) and PowerPoint to create compelling reports, forecasts, and business presentations.

Sample Handling: Manage and coordinate product samples to support Walmart reviews and internal development needs.

Corrective Action Plans: Co-develop and implement corrective action plans to address performance gaps or operational issues.

Requirements:

Experience: Minimum of 5 years of previous experience managing Walmart accounts, preferably in apparel or a similar category within retail.

Skills:

Strong analytical skills and ability to translate complex data into clear, strategic business actions.

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

Highly detail-oriented with excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.

Familiarity with Walmart systems such as Scintilla Charter, Supplier One, and NOVA.

Critical Thinking: Must be able to think critically, use data to evaluate performance, forecast trends, and make informed, impactful business decisions.
