Warehouse Assistant

As Bidfood ME, we are looking for a reliable and efficient Warehouse Assistant to support the smooth operation of our food service warehouse in Dubai. The ideal candidate will assist with the receipt, storage, organization, and distribution of food products and supplies, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards while maintaining optimal inventory levels to our standards and processes relating to cases per hour, accuracy, vehicle fill, health & safety and food hygiene legislation.

- Receive, inspect, and store food products in accordance with company standards and food safety regulations - (HACCP) and ensure proper rotation of stock (FIFO).
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with stock taking and reordering to prevent shortages or excess stock and assist with loading and unloading deliveries and shipments, checking the quality and quantity of received goods.
- Ensure movement of goods/food products into the right locations and right areas using the manual and machine method - Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for distribution, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse, ensuring products are stored in the appropriate conditions - (temperature-controlled areas, shelving, etc.).
- Ensure safety personal protective equipments are always worn during duty hours and operate warehouse equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.) safely and efficiently.

Maintain accurate records of stock movements, deliveries, and dispatches. Assist with inventory audits as required.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent; additional Certifications in Warehousing or Logistics are a plus.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or food service environment is preferred
- Knowledge of food safety and handling procedures.
- Forklift or other warehouse equipment certifications is a plus.
- Enthusiastic, energetic and smart mover inside the warehouse
- Product knowledge and handling is essential
